Short Biography: I’m an architect and BIM professional from Iran, currently based in Portugal. I hold two master’s degrees: one in Architecture – Digital Design from the University of Tehran, and another in BIM Management from the BIM A+ program, jointly awarded by Politecnico di Milano and the University of Minho. With over 13 years of experience in the AEC industry, I’ve been involved in a wide range of projects, including residential, commercial, educational, mixed-use high-rise buildings, bridges, museums, and data centers. In my current role, I work as a BIM Manager—leading BIM strategy, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, fully compliant models throughout the project lifecycle.

Short Biography: João Brígido Vieira is a civil engineer and BIM specialist with international experience managing structural and multidisciplinary design projects across Europe and South America. A graduate of the Erasmus Mundus BIM A+ programme, João currently works as a Contract & Project Manager in Portugal, leading high-value design projects for international clients. Passionate about sustainability and innovation, he combines technical expertise with a collaborative mindset to drive digital transformation in the built environment.

Short Biography: Michiel Bienens is a Belgian civil engineer and BIM strategist who, after earning his degree at KU Leuven and honing his expertise through the BIM A+ programme in Slovenia and Italy, now serves as BIM Manager at BESIX Netherlands. He leads infrastructure and building projects, drives business-intelligence efforts, and champions data-driven process optimization and digital transformation on a global scale.

Short Biography: I'm Civil Engineer from the National University of Colombia. I have in overall 13 years of experience as geotechnical engineer, project director, BIM Consultant and now as Principal Consultant and Digitalization Portfolio Owner, specialized in railway projects.

Short Biography: Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, he is an architect and BIM specialist from the Universidad de Chile who first embraced BIM in 2011 to optimize academic projects. Since 2016, they’ve applied self-taught BIM workflows and automation across social housing, real estate and bespoke architectural design to enhance time and cost efficiency. After completing the BIM A+ program in 2022, they continue to leverage BIM as a catalyst for innovation and global collaboration.

Short Biography: I am an architect with extensive experience in developing and coordinating architectural projects across various stages, types, programs, and scales. During my tenure at MMBB, I had the privilege of collaborating directly with Pritzker Prize-winning architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha. Notable projects include the development of the Sesc 24 de Maio Cultural Centre, designing a new entrance for Ibirapuera Park—both located in São Paulo—and contributing to a cinema proposal for the Reinventer Paris competition. Additionally, I specialize in Building Information Modeling (BIM), focusing on process automation tools for project development and construction planning. My expertise includes leveraging Python and Dynamo programming languages to optimize workflows and enhance project efficiency. Currently, I am an Associate Architect (Overseas Qualified) at Foster + Partners in London, United Kingdom.

Short Biography: Born in Zambia, Lombe pursued Civil Engineering at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, obtaining both Bachelor's and Master's degrees. She gained experience at NWE and Aurecon/Zutari engineering firms before enrolling in the BIM A+ Master's programme in 2020. Currently residing in Norway, Lombe is researching innovative methods to enhance sustainability in the construction industry.
