Digital Twins for Construction – A Livetalk by EUROSTRUCT

EUROSTRUCT, the European Association on Quality Control of Bridges and Structures, led by José Matos from University of Minho, is promoting a LiveTalk on Wednesday 20 May 2020 @ 14:00 CET. The guest lecturer is Prof. Rafael Sacks, co-author of the well-known BIM Handbook.

The topic of the LiveTalk will be “Digital Twins for Construction”, which brings together BIM, construction and monitoring of construction sites to feedback into the plan-do-check-act cycle.

Prof. Rafael Sacks is Ashtrom Engineering Company Chair in Civil Engineering, Professor at the Virtual Construction Lab, Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and Visiting Professor at CDBB and Division of Civil Engineering, University of Cambridge.

Moderators will be Amir Kedar from Kedmor Engineers Ltd, Telavive, Israel, and José Matos from University of Minho, Guimaraes, Portugal.
