BIM A+ contributes to new EIR guidelines and uses them in teaching

🚀 Exciting news for future BIM A+ students!

Our BIM A+ staff were heavily involved in developing a design-stage Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) example with buildingSMART Portugal, coordinated by our Program Director, Prof. Miguel Azenha.

This EIR is meticulously crafted to comply with #ISO19650, ensuring it meets international standards for information management. More than that, it became a cornerstone in updating our curriculum – especially the BIM A+2 module on modeling – to put even more focus on information management and quality. 🎓✨

And that’s not all! To enhance its openBIM value, the EIR also includes Information Delivery Specification (IDS) files, ensuring compliance with the new ISO 7817 standard. 📑✅
